Terms of Service

Wavepal is a personal tool for keeping up with people you care about: reminders on a rhythm you choose, birthdays and key dates, notes, and history. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Parts of the Service (for example the iPhone app) may be offered as betas that can change or end at any time.

You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your credentials secure and your email address current; you are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person.

The free plan is free up to 10 people, with no card required. Pro is $5 a month billed annually ($60 a year) or $10 month to month, processed by Stripe. Prices may change; existing subscribers get advance notice by email before a change affects them.

You can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future charges and Pro remains active through the period you have paid for. Amounts already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

Everything you put into Wavepal stays yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to host, back up, process, and display that content to you, which is how the Service works. We claim no other rights to it. Our Privacy Policy describes how content is protected. You are responsible for what you store, including using information about other people lawfully.

Do not use the Service to break the law, to harass or stalk anyone, to store content you have no right to store, to probe or disrupt our systems, to resell the Service, or to build a competing dataset by scraping. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing privacy@wavepal.app; deletion permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. If we ever discontinue the Service, we will give you reasonable advance notice and a way to request your data first.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any reminder will be delivered at a particular time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 80bit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $60 if you paid nothing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. For material changes we will update the effective date above and notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
